Creating a Children's Photo-Picture Book.
There is little doubt that Children's books are the most sought after commodity in the publishing world at present. A major publisher accepted my first attempt at a children's picture book within two weeks of submission.
"Don Quixote and the Windmills" was originally written for (and included) my step - granddaughter. The idea came about when I was trying to think of some way to make productive use of a collection of photographs that I had taken in Spain at the location of Don Quixote's famous windmills.
Through the use of some simple basic photo editing techniques that I will teach you, you will have your first Children's full color picture book ready for the publisher /printer in an amazing 3 days!

Schedule – Workshop- Gozo Malta
Your three day workshop includes buffet lunch and coffee/tea or soft drinks.
Software is provided during instruction.
Monday
9 am. Morning session - general overview, equipment & software - (break for lunch 1pm)
Afternoon - Photo shoot for course content. - 2pm - 5pm,
Tuesday
9 am -12.30 character picture session and discussion. (10am coffee break)
Break for Lunch at 1pm.
2 pm. Afternoon session. Review morning character shoot.
Illustrated lecture on story line composition (Don Quixote) 2pm- 5.30.
Wednesday
9am - 12.30. Cut and paste! (10.30 coffee break) Break for Lunch 1pm - 2pm.
Afternoon 2pm - 5.30pm - adding text. Review and Questions.
Equipment. You will need a Laptop or tablet that will accept a Memory card or CD. Plus -
Digital camera with removable memory card (or certain ‘smart’ phones) Camera available on loan if necessary.
