June was born in Leeds, England and married Dr. Peter J Shield in Leeds in 1952. She mothered 6 wonderful children and spent the last 30+ years in Queensland, Australia. In her late 60's she attended one art class on the Queensland Gold Coast and sold her first painting! June sadly passes into the arms of her maker in 2018! RIP>

Her failing eyesight brought her painting career to an early end and her paintings are treasured by their owners and family. We hope you enjoy this exclusive selection of her work.
