Internationally acclaimed photographer, Author, Archaeologist and Broadcaster, Dr. Peter J. Shield has live in over 225 cities and over 25 countries during his 87 years. He is the author of over 13 books available on Amazon - https://lnkd.in/gQZb99D
In 1996 Peter was awarded the Silver Medal for his work for the Hilton Hotel Resort Development by the American Resort Development Association. Dr Shield was retained by the Chinese Government to develop a Resort Hotel in Zhui China in 1997.
In the 1980's Peter worked with the P&O Cruise lines out of Australia as a lecturer and entertainer for 8 years.
Dr Shield worked with Cambridge Universities Dr. David Trump recording archaeological sites and artifacts on the Island of Malta where he also represented Associated Press and the Government Central Office of Information. He currently is one of the Distinguished lecturers at the Smithsonian Institute's Nevada Atomic Testing Museum, in Las Vegas. He also works with the USA Nepris Education platform lecturing to students across America.
More recently he has developed and opened a number of Antique Malls in Nevada, USA his home for the past 25 years. After spending 2020 on the Costa Del Sol, Spain where Peter worked in the late 90's for resort developers Club La Costa and in the early 2000's for Marriott Hotel Resorts, he completed writing his Memoirs and returned to his home on the Maltese Island of Gozo where he now resides.
Master Glass Blower Robert Scott Shield moved from his beloved Australia to Las Vegas Nevada USA to join his father Dr. Peter J. Shield in the early 2000's.
Robert had completed over 8 years apprenticeship with a International Glass Craftsman Roy Saxon, in Australia after completing school there. On settling in Las Vegas Robert established Studio Royal Glass Blowing Academy and presented demonstrations throughout Nevada, Arizona and California.
Over the years Robert has presented the art of Glass Blowing in over 4 countries around the world.
He is proud to have been one of the early clients of the now International Marketing web organization 'Groupon'.
Robert also operates an independent taxi service to clients in Nevada.
